A shoot with Kim!!

This weeks blog post is about one of my photo clients who runs her own  Rodan + Fields skincare business out of her home.
By day, Kim is a teacher, but she also helps to provide for her husband and two sweet daughters with her business as a Rodan + Fields representative.   Teaching has always been Kim's passion, however, when her family grew she wanted to be able to provide as much as possible for them, with travel opportunities, endless family fun, and for her daughters to be able to go to the college of their choice!!
When Kim re-connected with a former neighbor, Kim learned about the Rodan + Fields opportunity, which struck her as a fun, flexible job opportunity, which allows her to work from home, and give her more time for friends and family.

Kim mentions:
"Rodan + Fields was founded by two of the most successful names in skincare, Dr. Katie Rodan and Dr. Kathy Fields. Both trained at Stanford University School of Medicine and are well-recognized as the creators of Proativ ® Solution.   R+F is currently the fastest growing skincare line and #4 in the US.   I sell these amazing products that fill wrinkles while you sleep and we have 4 amazing clinical skin care lines: REVERSE for sun damage, UNBLEMISH for adult and teenage acne, SOOTHE for sensitive skin issues and REDEFINE for wrinkles and firmness. These products were the first thing to ever work for me. I am now makeup and foundation free. I finally have my ideal clear skin.  I use the SOOTHE Regimen on my infant daughter that suffers from eczema and it worked immediately. That solidified my belief in the products even more."

The Alex & Ani bracelets in the photo were given to her by the Rodan + Fields company.

I love this shot of Kim!!

And here she is holding a sample of some of her favorite products.

Rodan + Fields offers great products for skincare, and the products go beyond the Proactiv line!!

This bag was also a gift from the company.

I loved the natural light in her house!!  It really brings out her beautiful skin and  ice blue eyes!!

Just a tidbit from Kim:

"I am earning far more than I ever dreamed possible with this business, and I am doing it all on my own terms. I am loving how I can run my business around my busy life without it interfering with time with my family.  Anyone that knows me well knows I am not a huge risk taker, but I knew I did not want to pass up this opportunity.  "

A visit with the lovely ladies of Re-Purposefully Yours

On Saturday I spent some time getting to see the creative art, and hanging out with the mother-daughter team that is Re-Purposefully Yours!!  Adrian and Victoria have a beautiful little shop in the Artique art co-op in Clifton Park, NY.
The ladies got started crafting when Adrian's grandma-Victoria's mother was still alive.  They painted diaramas in eggs together, made ornaments, and deserts, and decorated the fabulous deserts they made for the family.  After Grandma had passed, Adrian and Victoria kept the crafting sessions going, the ladies found so many vintage items in her grandma's attic that they could use for crafting, and felt like it was bringing the essence of grandma alive with all the gems they found.

The pair love bringing older items back to life with a new personal flair, and have always dreamed of owning a small shop to showcase and sell their talented, beautiful crafts.  They are WELL on their way with a gorgeous selection of handcrafted items at their shop at the Artique Co-Op.
If you're looking for something unique, beautiful, and made with love, PLEASE check out Re-Purposefully Yours.
