Oily hair tips and tricks!!

I know many of you ladies who have issues with oily hair often have to wash your hair daily. Otherwise you opt to use a dry shampoo, or if you're like me, with light, fine hair, you use baby powder. 

I have recently been reading/hearing how baby powder is linked to cancer, (I know- what isn't linked to cancer?!), however I did some research on some alternatives!!

One amazing product is from the haircare line I carry and use in my hairstyling business, it's a Phytovolume Actif volumizing spray. This heat activated volumizing spray contains beetroot alcohol, so this is plant derived which is WAY healthier than a synthetic alcohol. A 4.22 fluid ounce spray bottle is $30 and SHOULD last you at least three months. This can be used in wet or dry hair, but if you use it as a dry shampoo alternative, spray a few spritzes on dry hair at the roots, and blow dry to the desired style. 

  The second product that I have recently found is by Bee All Natural products, which I purchased on Amazon for about $14.00. Pricey?? Maybe a little, but I love that it contains one of the ingredients that you can find in dry shampoos, ( White Kaolin Clay), and also contains arrowroot powder, chamomile, and other organic ingredients.  I use powder mostly at night so that the oils in my hair are absorbed by the powder and I wake up with my hair feeling fresh!!

Hi everyone!! Welcome, and thank you for reading my blog. Here I will be talking about products and experiences I try, how they affect me, and what I think about them.

    A little bit about me:
I grew up in Utica, NY, I am 32 years old but most people say I look 22. I am a fully licensed cosmetologist, receiving training at Shear Ego in Rochester, NY. I have trained under the amazing Rocky Greco, of Rocky Greco's salon, and have had extensive training in Phyto haircare and Institut Eathederm skin care. I no longer offer coloring or chemical services as they had affected my health very negatively. I am also an amazing waxer!!

I went to MVCC and hold an associates degree in illustration.

I currently live in the Albany area, and I am studying at the Institute for Integrative nutrition to be a health coach.
